Instrumental Assessment Lab         

In this lab, procedures for effective oral examinations will be explained and can be practices. Participants will be able to view videos of nasopharyngoscopy examinations and nasometry exams so that they can learn how to interpret the studies. They will also be able to use a simulator to get hands-on experience passing the nasopharygoscope. hands-on experience with nasometry.

Perceptual Assessment and Clinical Judgment Lab         

In this lab, participants will be shown videos of patients with various forms of cleft palate speech disorders and velopharyngeal insufficiency. They will watch and listen to the videos and then practice evaluating the speech and determining appropriate treatment.
