Bilateral Cleft Lip Workshop

This workshop will include two key components:

1. Detailed planning for surgical marking and repair techniques for bilateral cleft lip.
2. Hands-on dissection and repair of a simulated bilateral cleft lip model.

The workshop focuses on addressing the challenges presented by bilateral cleft lip cases, ranging from mild incomplete forms to wide, complete cases with or without a protruding premaxilla. Participants will gain valuable insights into time-tested techniques for achieving successful outcomes in bilateral cleft lip and nasal repairs.

Emphasis will be placed on enhancing lip symmetry, creating a balanced cupid’s bow, optimizing the height of the upper lip, and improving rhinoplasty outcomes. Renowned experts in the field will provide step-by-step demonstrations, share nuanced tips, and guide participants through the intricacies of surgical markings, precise dissection, and closure techniques.
